The Conter Reading Group returns
We are pleased to kick start our reading group with The Retreat from Class: The New ‘True’ Socialism.
In this modern classic, Ellen Wood traces the decline of class analysis on the left in recent decades, exploring the ideas that would eventually dominate much of academia, the cultural industry and centre-left politics.
We meet for our first session on Saturday 9th March at 5pm (UK time). Anyone can join, without prior reading or knowledge. The group is open and welcoming, and debate is encouraged.
